Facilitating Change Through Personal Growth

My Education, Experience and Certification

I’m currently studying across several platforms to expand my knowledge in trauma-informed support, personal development, and community wellness. I’ve always been a dedicated learner, even with what the state recognizes as a Title 5 Special Learning Disability. Throughout school, I struggled with abstract concepts, language processing, and memory retrieval—but I excelled in creative and hands-on subjects like art, photography, English, horticulture, woodshop, dance, and jewelry making.

In community college, I repeated this same pattern: challenges with math and science, but strengths in psychology, health, and the arts. After a comprehensive learning assessment in 2001, I finally received clear answers about the way my brain processes information. Soon after, a high-risk pregnancy changed the course of my life, and I chose to step away from traditional education.

I spent the next two decades raising my children, homeschooling, and trying to build an income from home. Over the years, I worked with several health and entrepreneurial companies (Mannatech, Party Lite, Princess House, Melaleuca, Young Living, Younique, Empower Network). I invested time, money, and effort, and learned what doesn’t work, especially when personal values, business ethics, and timing don’t align. Those years taught me perseverance, communication skills, leadership, and the importance of mission over marketing.

During this same period, I was pouring myself into marriage, parenting, and survival—emotionally, financially, and physically. The stress in my home life eventually led me to seek support. I worked with a therapist for over a year and with a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management. Therapy, self-work, and a difficult marriage became my training ground for resilience, empathy, and trauma-aware care.

Today, I help others through that same lens: honest, practical support for people navigating anxiety, burnout, healing, and the process of rebuilding themselves from the inside out. Everything I teach comes from lived experience, verified research, continuing education, and a very hard-earned understanding that healing should never be a luxury.

It’s all part of my bittersweet training ground… My beautiful disaster??????

Here’s the real, unedited timeline of where I’ve learned, worked, and grown along the way.
