Handcrafted Inspirations: Rediscovering My 2013 Journal Pages

Handcrafted Inspirations: Rediscovering My 2013 Journal Pages

Originally posted on: 6/29/2013

Hello, everyone!
Today, I’m taking a moment to revisit a creative journey that began back in 2013. Back then, I designed several journal pages entirely by hand, pouring my heart into every line and detail. I loved scanning, uploading, and rearranging them on my “Stuff” page—and I hoped you’d enjoy using them as much as I did.

I initially challenged everyone to dive into those pages and to remember: you are a masterpiece and you are loved!

As technology evolved at lightning speed, though, those once-beautiful, handcrafted designs began to lose their sparkle. They blurred and pixelated until they no longer captured the vibrant artwork I had created. With a heavy heart, I removed them—promising myself I’d eventually replace them with upgraded versions that truly honor the original designs.

Life, as it often does, had other plans, and those new journal pages remained on hold. But today, I’m excited to share the very first of those new pages. Designed entirely by me and featuring my added logo, this page is a small glimpse into the next chapter of my creative journey. It represents both a fresh start and a respectful nod to where it all began.

Embracing the Creative Journey

Even though I haven’t yet completed all the updates, this adventure has reminded me that every step—whether smooth or stumpy—is an integral part of the creative process. Our art ebbs and flows, and sometimes a pause gives way to something even more beautiful.

Below, you can see my very first new journal page. Let it serve as both an inspiration and a promise that more creative updates are on the horizon. Feel free to save it, print it, or use it as a backdrop for your own musings.

Dive into your next creative challenge—and never forget: you are a masterpiece, and you are loved!
